Who We Are
We believe in cooking with love; making fresh food, not just fast food! We strive to offer a casual dining experience in a relaxed and social atmosphere beside the water.
The Black Shed Café is well known for providing great British fayre, using locally sourced, high welfare and sustainable produce to deliver top quality food for your plate. Our breakfast and lunch menus boast a variety of family favourites, but don't forget to also check our weekly specials board. Reservations aren't necessary, although they are preferred to avoid disappointment.
Please let our staff know about any allergies or conditions needed to accommodate your personal requirements. We do our best to address dietary requirements including separate cookware, utensils and stocking gluten-free food like sausages, chips, bread and dairy-free alternatives such as soya and oat milk.
Our Menus
We are passionate about providing great tasting café cuisine, and always work with reputable food producers and suppliers, as well as only using the most ethically sourced local meats for our menu and carvery.
We enjoy being a hub of activity, and pride ourselves on providing a diverse evening menu, such as our increasingly famous Friday Fish & Chip Supper!
Or treat yourself to one of our freshly made picnics while cruising on one of our skippered historical boats. What could be more tranquil?!
